As a sufficient number of supporters pledged, here is the new board dedicated to VBCW! |

Thanks – I am happy that we have a period rather than a rule specific board. Can I mention my Kickstarter here? |

and VBCW is what? Very Big Canadian Walkers? I for one would play that period. I assume they are used to assault Martian Tripods using some sort of Maple based technology, eh? |

Would it be possible to have the default for new message boards to be NOT to display them on our homepage? |

Would it be possible to have the default for new message boards to be NOT to display them on our homepage? I for one would not want that. How much trouble is it to turn it off? If it is invisible as new, how will I know about it? |

VBCW is like SCW with more meat pies and less Spaniards. |

Think of VBCW as Dads Army mixed with Jeeves and Wooster with a dash of Heath-Robinson added for flavour

I didn't know what it was either. And certainly not enough to support it and a separate Board for it. Robert |

It is actually a rather popular alternate interwar period. I am in process of building a faction (Welsh Nationalists). link That link will let you see most of the Welsh nationalist posts I have put on my blog, The Scattergun Gamer. |

I've just noticed that the header for this board says "For discussion of anything related to wargaming with the Very British Civil War (Solway Crafts & Miniatures) rules system." Which of course, isn't correct, as there isn't a specific rules system and Solway themselves produce two rules systems for the genre. Can I respectfully suggest to the editor that it should be changed to something along the lines of: "For discussion of anything related to wargaming with the Very British Civil War 'world' created by Solway Crafts & Miniatures." Anyone got a better tag-line? |
