As a sufficient number of supporters pledged, here is the new board dedicated to VBCW!

Thanks – I am happy that we have a period rather than a rule specific board.

Can I mention my Kickstarter here?

CorpCommander08 Apr 2013 11:06 a.m. PST

and VBCW is what?

Very Big Canadian Walkers? I for one would play that period. I assume they are used to assault Martian Tripods using some sort of Maple based technology, eh?

Would it be possible to have the default for new message boards to be NOT to display them on our homepage?

GROSSMAN08 Apr 2013 12:05 p.m. PST

I for one would not want that.
How much trouble is it to turn it off?
If it is invisible as new, how will I know about it?

VBCW is like SCW with more meat pies and less Spaniards.

Think of VBCW as Dads Army mixed with Jeeves and Wooster with a dash of Heath-Robinson added for flavour… :)

Very Busty Cute Women board?

I didn't know what it was either. And certainly not enough to support it and a separate Board for it. Robert

It is actually a rather popular alternate interwar period.

I am in process of building a faction (Welsh Nationalists).

That link will let you see most of the Welsh nationalist posts I have put on my blog, The Scattergun Gamer.

I've just noticed that the header for this board says

"For discussion of anything related to wargaming with the Very British Civil War (Solway Crafts & Miniatures) rules system."

Which of course, isn't correct, as there isn't a specific rules system and Solway themselves produce two rules systems for the genre. Can I respectfully suggest to the editor that it should be changed to something along the lines of:

"For discussion of anything related to wargaming with the Very British Civil War 'world' created by Solway Crafts & Miniatures."

Anyone got a better tag-line?
