You've got a scenario map, and you need to create some hills. Is there some way to just print out the map in very large scale, so you can trace the outline of the hills you need to build? The Editor finds out...

We had a game at the club on Saturday and Carl has updated his Blog with a report. Hope you enjoy it.

Great AAR – a real slugfest!

Larry R08 Apr 2013 6:22 a.m. PST

Very cool, thanks. What rules?

MajorB08 Apr 2013 7:06 a.m. PST

I don't think there were any beechs on Omaha…

Rapier Miniatures08 Apr 2013 7:37 a.m. PST

They had to line the bunkers with something and beech pannellings was apparantly the method of choice.

He told me his mother (a blonde) had checked it for him!

The rules used were GHQ Micro Armour.

Dynaman878908 Apr 2013 7:56 a.m. PST

That looks great.

Why does plo-nker get bleeped?

I would have loved to play that. Very nice looking game.

Being a Frenchman, you could write that the allied sheep opened fire on the bitch, I would not notice the difference in pronunciation :-)

Great looking game.

Where did you get the ships and landing craft from? They look superb.

PS I was on Omaha beach a few weekends back. It's a very long walk from the waters edge to the dunes at low tide. I don't know how they made it in 44 getting across all that sand and being fired at. Respect Doods.

Thanks for the link to the Liberty ship.

Are the Landing craft from Scotia?

Empires at War Sponsoring Member of TMP09 Apr 2013 10:48 a.m. PST

BattlerBritain

The landing craft are from GHQ which are sold through Magister Militum, as are all vehicles and figures.

BattlerBritain09 Apr 2013 11:27 a.m. PST

Thanks for that. I was after the LCT with the 5 Shermans in it. I didn't know that GHQ did those.

Very nice but I have never seen the English Channel with that shade of blue; more likely grey!

Sorry Mick, couldn't help it! ;)

Lovely game though – I particularly like the ships and landing craft.

My embarrassment is complete!!!

theskipman10 Apr 2013 10:46 a.m. PST

that is one great looking game and terrain, it really works in 6mm as you get nicely inland for an in depth game instead of just on the beach

Checkout 'ronny 8664' on Ebay
he makes excellent landing craft complete with infantry occupants (removable) and tank landing craft, and gliders etc
Vietnam riverine craft too
