Hi lads…this is the start of my Pulp Alley gaming experiance…I picked up these little lads from Tor gaming Pineapple Tribe range'

link

these are the start of my Magumbo tribe….here's a few of the lads….I would suggest you grab them fast as I have a feeling they will sell out soon!

I hope the names are suitable for the little chaps, I named them for my Pulp Alley league…they are 28mm scale but these lads are pygmies.

Was or is there a South Pacific tribe that wore masks about the size of their bodies? Does anyone have information about such a tribe? I remember the Disney movie Lt Robin Caruso, USN had similar native people.

These are 28mm pygmies? So the people are 20mm tall? Would they work for 1/72nd scale regular sized people?

Thanks.

Hi Lads….these are a light hearted look at an African tribe that will be used for Pulp Action and Victorian African Adventures….these are the only sort of miniatures that I have come across with this sort of approach:)

I got them from Tor gaming, (checkout the link)….the pecker rider is quite unique for any gaming collection.

Its good to see a new range of miniatures on the market that give us something a little bit different:)

They look like they would blend well with the Reaper Pygmies as well if you are looking to add a few more to your league.

I like (and find creepy) the suggestion that their masks might be their actual faces.

Look at the one using his blowpipe, cheeks puffed up and all. As a mask it would look quite silly without the blowpipe in place.

Those look awesome! I hope you have fun playing Pulp Alley! :)

For the sake of others who might go looking for these, TOR Gaming sold the line to Wargames Emporium who now have them under their Lost Horizon line:

Those are some cool minis. I'm glad they're still available. :)

Great painting of some very fun minis.

The black masks look downright sinister.
A lot less playfull than the brown masks.
