Some time ago I became interested in posting a detailed example of a 15mm Battlegroup Panzergrenadier game in the form of a session AAR. It started off because I figured maybe there are others who would appreciate more information about how the game plays when trying to decide whether to buy the rules. Or after having bought the rules and trying to learn the system cold, would like to see the details of how a game plays out. So I went ahead and played a game and logged everything I did with lots of photos and posted it on the Boardgamegeek Forum. Here is the link: link The AAR is from a July 1941 eastern front scenario I wrestled together called "Across The Pronia" with 3rd Panzer Division attacking east of Mogilev in the opening days of the battle for Smolensk. The game set-up and all 9 turns of the game have been posted. In addition I plan to post the "Across The Pronia" scenario file there soon in the Files section. I hope it sheds some light for those interested in BGPG and wondering about the details of how a game plays out, or maybe it will just provide a new scenario for BGPG veterans. Either way, I hope you enjoy the AAR postings. Cheers – Gary |

Superb – a ton of work is in that. I had the first edition of the rules so was interested to see how the changes in the command rules played out. |

Amazing stuff. Lots and lots of work is required and I am very grateful for it. Detailed AARs like this are rare and I for one love reading them. So thanks for taking the large amount of time and effort to do so. |
