I recently purchased three of the GrandManner ancient buildings: the Single Story Large House, the Two Story Building and the Medium Single Story House. These are beautiful pieces and I couldn't be happier with them. A full review and plenty of detailed photos can be found on the blog: link Cheers, Jonathan |

Fantastic models, a bit on the pricey side, but the quality is top notch. |

The folks at Grand Manner are also helpful. When I was painting one building I'd bought a couple years earlier, I wrote to ask what the pile in the corner was. Even though that building was out of production, they wrote back promptly to let me know it was a pile of sand used to put out the fire. Grelber |

You mention the hefty price-tag, especially with shipping across the pond figured in. That said, the quality does seem undoubted! And the quality of service is ALSO 1st Rate, as I discovered

She's repeatedly reminded me that simple but "perfectly effective 'squarish'" and rectangular buildings can be contrived from cut pieces of cardboard and foam-board. I have however managed to turn that argument around on her recently -- once. She relented, and let me place an order for some Grand Manner ships -- NOT something "squarish" or rectangular that can be contrived with cut pieces of cardboard and foam-board!!! She's been a good sport about it -- yesterday she even helped by applying the primer to my Roman Trade Ship for me, while I dealt with another matter!! Now to figure out how to get an order for a few of GM's galleys past her!! Maybe
if I break down and build a couple "squarish" or "rectangulars
" she'll be mollified
