Hi

All my digging so far suggests that the Pz38t's used by the Hungarians in 1942 were painted German panzer grey only rather than the brown/tan/green scheme of the other Hungarian armour.

Can anyone point me to a source that contradicts this ?

TIA

No – I have the MMP book on Hungarian armour and there are a lot of Pz 38 photos, definitely in panzer grey – not even a hint of a camo pattern. The Panzer IIIs and IVs used by the heavy companies of 1st Field Armoured Division were also panzer grey.
