Just started reading this series on Kindle,set just after ww2 finished it deals with ww3,written by Colin Gee, just halfway through Book 2, very good books. |

Not wanting to be negative – but I thought the book lacked focus with too many threads and too much extraneous detail. The characters were card board cut-outs and the action sequences read like a wargamer's AAR. In short the book really needed a good editor. Great premise but poorly executed. |

That's pretty negative then lol Im a first time writer so there were teething problems. None the less, your view is a minority one. That will not stop me from trying to improve the editing et al. The cardboard cut-outs thing flies in the face of most of the feedback. I have worked out that an author simply cannot satisfy everyone and that there will, occasionally, be those such as yourself who just don't like some things. Have a nice day :-) |
