Just started reading this series on Kindle,set just after ww2 finished it deals with ww3,written by Colin Gee, just halfway through Book 2, very good books.

Not wanting to be negative – but I thought the book lacked focus with too many threads and too much extraneous detail. The characters were card board cut-outs and the action sequences read like a wargamer's AAR. In short the book really needed a good editor. Great premise but poorly executed.

That's pretty negative then lol Im a first time writer so there were teething problems. None the less, your view is a minority one. That will not stop me from trying to improve the editing et al. The cardboard cut-outs thing flies in the face of most of the feedback. I have worked out that an author simply cannot satisfy everyone and that there will, occasionally, be those such as yourself who just don't like some things. Have a nice day :-)
