I had a quick question regarding the JTFM Firefly, the pics on the site show it on a base, is the model itself baseless, or is the base an intergal part of the model, or just a part of the demo modeler's build and not even a part of the kit?

And also, how does it compare detail wise to the Bolt Action firefly kit?

Thanks!

Hello James,

All my models are cast without a base. The model in the picture was placed on the base by the person who purchased it.

Cheers,

Jeff @ JTFM/Die Waffenkammer

Very cool and great to know. Order incoming soon! =)
(love what I have seen of your models, and really dislike bases on vehicles, at least at this scale).

Thanks

Jim

Going by Jeff's other offerings I would imagine the detail is better than WG version.

I try, and the Firefly, like all my models, comes with all the stowage pictured on the painted sample.

That's good to know. I prefer un-based tanks!

There are some useful photos of the model painted and in unassembled form here:

I got a T34 and Stug last year that are still in the pile to do as I think I need an air brush to do them justice. The casting and detail is fantastic.
