So these are my new additions to my personal 1/200 scale Zentraedi army. After some snooping around I finally Acquired a few of these extremely hard to find models that have appeared in other 1/200 Robotech poster's threads on TMP…

They look great. Ahh nostalgia of childhood.

ordinarybass06 Apr 2013 4:29 p.m. PST

Wow, Despite the grainyness of the material, you really made them look good. Nice Job!

Cool!

Get those from a shapeways store, or did a Bandai kit emerge from the depths of the interwebz?

MacrossMartin07 Apr 2013 4:41 a.m. PST

Lion, I'm pretty sure those are Shapeways items, unless someone's dropped some into some silicone, and started casting them…

Palladium has some 1/285 macross minis coming up as well.

It says on the write up at th linked site that it's 'white strong flexible' – so it's a Shapeways print. It sounds like it took a lot of prep work to get them looking so good.

Certainly look good completed!

Forgive me, I was trying to pry the Shapeways store out of our poster… :P

Pattus Magnus10 Apr 2013 9:05 a.m. PST

Oops, I didn't pick up on that!

A link to the Shapeways store would be nice…

Typically, shapeways minis need to use ultra detail. Durability is still good from what I've heard but I haven't bought any myself.

Awesome stuff. I have a handful of them as well – mine are not nearly as weather/finished or beautifully painted. I'm sad to say I don't have the patience. Good lookin' stuff. Black – where are you based out of? Shame we can't combine our rather silly sized 1/200 Robotech collections for a game of epic proportions.

I'm in Washington State. Yes, a giant battle would be awesome! It would take forever though so we would have to have it on a holiday weekend. We could make a 1/200 scale game board of part of the SDF 1 for the game. I can see it now!
