Hi all, I've been using Perry miniatures and GW Lord of Rings/War of the Ring rules for some pretty fun Game of Thrones inspired games. Needless to say, have become quite tempted to try mounting a mounted man at arms on a dragon. Any ideas on a dragon model that would be suitable? Nothing *too* fantastic, and of suitable scale primarily. |

Are you going for four-legged dragons or two-legged ones? If two-legged, this Ral Partha Wyvern seems easy to fit a figure on and is not too "fantasy".

If you want a four-legged dragon, I think this one seems a manageable size and seems easy to mount a figure on:

Some of the Splintered light ones may work: link |

Complete guess here on my part, but I'm going to predict that the future GW "The Hobbit" Smaug model will be fantasticly designed, absolutely gigantic, and will cost well in excess of $100. USD Nevertheless, I will likely get one. |

Ultraforge makes a pretty good-size dragon with saddle. Scaled to GW Fantasy minis, however, not the more slender Perry historicals. |
