Recently reviewing Zvezda's BA-10 TMP link it was suggested I might like to make one without a turret as a scout carrier. What a good idea! I did!

That was my main reservation when I dummied the assembly – so I can't argue.

Compared with the real photo, they are too chunky by far … looked at on the wargames table amongst the mix of 1/100 scale vehicles and 15mm figures it blends in quite well.

To some extent that inconsistency is something we learn to live with as historical wargamers.

Yeah, most figures are way bigger than the scale of the vehicles they are supposed to fit in. Especially when talking about 1930's people.
