92nd Gordon Highlanders

Here following some FR minis under painting.
Please give me some comments and advices.
For the moment I just painted the KILT with Tartan, the bonnet and the socks.
I choosed VMC 957 for jackets, I will wash it with red wash and maybe highlight it a bit (I am very bad on it).
Please please please give me your advices before it's too late.

Looks good and the hard part is done. At this point I would paint the metal, then wash the figure with a brown ink (50/50 water and ink). High light and paint white on the belts and lace. I think you will like the results. The inking will clean up the edging between items like the belts and jacket. I use it all the time as I can't paint a straight line for neither love nor money.

I like it so far, but I'd try some dark wash like GW's 'Devlan Mud' or some army-painter products. Then another round of highlights.
