I "need" a few blisters of the AWI LI wearing the chained leather helmet.
Is it cheaper to buy them from Foundry directly, or to get them from a USA distributor?
I may need a few identical blisters, if that means anything. Are there volume discounts?
Is the shipping reasonable?

They still have that multiple purchase deal on historicals don't they? Buy three get 1 free, buy 6 get 2 and so on……

I bought some stuff I needed from Foundry direct after the recent change and it was very reasonable. I'd go direct, it came fast, and they even threw in a few extra figs.

Theft. Sure it isn't legal, but it is the cheapest. I'd suggest using someone else's checkbook or credit card. Make sure you cover your tracks well though.

Otherwise, if you want to go the legal route, their "deals" are probably the best way and they have some of the Buy X many get Y free deals too. Ebay resellers often underprice their loot – if you can find what you are looking for there.

Seems to me that the "deals" are cheapest and swiftest

John – I believe they have the buy 3 and get a 4th pack free. Not exactly sure of the shipping though – they have to use their mail service which I understand may be higher than ours (USPS). Otherwise, maybe see what is in stock with US distributors. My buddy and I recently went to the UK for a WAB tournament and were fortunate enough to visit the Foundry. There the staff were immensely friendly and helpful (thanks again Neil); actually casting several sets which weren't on the walls in stock while we waited. I suggest contacting them to see what they can do for your particular "needs". Best, Dean

To bad not Foundry Mountain Men. I could hook you up.

Bartertown will generally be cheaper. But of course it hit & miss. Also, Ebay can "sometimes" be cheaper.

I was just on the site and couldn't find the famous "Deals".
Educate the blind and computer illiterate, please.
Any on AWI Light Infantry in Kepple (chain) hats? grin

Warstore. If they don't list it, they can throw it in on their next order.

I don't see the deals on the foundry web site either. There use to be the deal where you could order three of the same pack at a discount.

Hmmm

The offer is still there, I hasten to add the capital letters are cut & pasted from the Foundry website.
link
1. WHEN YOU BUY THREE IDENTICAL PACKS: YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EXTRA IDENTICAL PACK FOR FREE.
2. WHEN YOU BUY ANY EIGHT PACKS FROM THE SAME ARMY: YOU WILL RECEIVE TWO EXTRA PACKS OF YOUR CHOICE FROM THAT ARMY FOR FREE.
3. WHEN YOU BUY ANY SIXTEEN PACKS FROM THE SAME ARMY: YOU WILL RECEIVE SIX EXTRA PACKS OF YOUR CHOICE FROM THAT ARMY FOR FREE.

FYI Tuesday I did get a confirmation from Foundry that the deals Huscarle posted are still going on.

Have you looked at the Foundry's Ebay store?

I picked up some SYW Russians for a price less than their web-store; but you need to look/compare, because some of the auction deals are not deals.

Before the reawakening the cheapest way was Caliver books- they used the real exchange rate and orders over a relatively minimal amount were free shipping world wide.

Not sure if Foundry direct is cheaper than that now though.

Ah, thanks.
But no AWI. Yet. grin
