I have a stupid question. I recently found this site and love that there are similar nerds to myself who enjoy whittling away their day discussing little painted men (or the growing box of yet to be painted little men). I signed up to be a supporting member yesterday for a month as a trial. After I submitted the payment via paypal, I wondered how the head of this site getting a random payment from a random person is going to track it back to me. Am I supposed to send him a note saying "Hi, I just sent you money, give me a cool little insignia next to my name now"? Or is there another way he can track it back to me. Sorry in advance for my density. :)

Well, you signed up to be a member in order to post so Bill has an identity for you associated with your email address. One thing, though-- it will probably take him a few days to get it processed. He's just a one man band here with a LOT to do much of the time.

Welcome to TMP! It's a great site.

WHAT?!?! He does not wait up all night to process my payment as soon as it comes in? THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! :)

Thanks! I have had a lot of fun lurking here, so I figured I might as well start posting too. I do seem to have a bit of trouble navigating through the multitude of forums, but I suppose I shall get used to it.

It is all done by hand.
Dear Editor has to sharpen his goose quill pens before he can prepare the illuminated manuscripts that make you a Supporting Member.

I am from York, PA. Thank you all for your warm welcome. Is this the lounge that you speak of?

I am, however, feeling a bit spooked at The Editor's stalking abilities. lol

That's why he's Dear Editor…

Finally ! He's upgraded from the bronze chisel and the
club he was using ! Great !

Even if you change your membername

Uh, don't pay any attention to that bit, thethreefates.

Most folks don't bother naming their, er, 'members.'

thethreefates04 Apr 2013 8:05 p.m. PST

LMAO @ Ed!!!!
