On Easter Saturday seven gamers gathered for the fictional Battle of Hennersdorf which used 6mm figures and the Volley & Bayonet rules. On the 21st August 1813 French, Russian, Prussian and Austrian forces fought a battle which lasted some 12 hours and involved over 220,000 infantry, 33,000 cavalry and some 650 cannon in a bloody struggle in and around the town of Hennersdorf. Converging via a series of roads the armies struggled to deploy before advancing to engage the enemy with great valour.
The first of article, of three, describes the build up and deployments. It can be found here: link Links to the second and third parts can be found on thiat the end of each section. |

Nice – I just sent off for my Austrian 'reinforcements' today (Baccus) and hopefully the Russian Command & Colors module should arrive at my door in the next hour or so. Lots of goodness :-) |

Looks great! I'm planning the same deal with my 6mm Naps. Half scale bases using Ros/Heroics and Irregular 6mm. Thanks, John |
