Ok I need some help/advice I have a pile of about 30 or so old adventure types and the odd monster some are ral partha 25mm most are un-painted or badly painted. I also have about 40 old fashioned citadel orcs that need a home . I haven't taken any pictures because I am trying to get a feel for their value say, .50 cents to a dollar a figure? I really need to make room for my current projects and Theese old figures have been sitting on a shelf for far too long. What are they worth? The figures are all 25mm.

Really need the pictures to know. It also depends on the crowd, but a $1 USD each that is a good dela as that is less than what they retailed for in the 80's

You might want to check ebay for the current prices.

Vintage – old school or classic, or whatever you want to call it – fantasy can fetch a good price depending on the miniature.

Dave T regularly sells vintage Citadel on ebay for 4-5 UK Pounds if not more.

.50 to a dollar is about right, unless you have some of the licensed stuff like Elfquest, Larry Elmore, or Boris Vallejo figures that aren't made any more.

The orcs, as does much old Citadel lead, likely have value.

Monsters are hit or miss. Licensed D&D monsters can fetch a little. Typical the large monsters and iconic monsters bring the most. Poorly sculpted human, dwarf and elf types in 25mm are often the least desirable, but it depends on the figure. Humanoids seem to retain more value if they have a notable sculptor or are part of a large range. As a ballpark, junk collections eBay for about $0.50 USD each and better stuff rarely brings more than $4 USD each in lots.

As a buyer of old lead myself I tend to want stripped figures and will pay more for them than for ones with old paint jobs.
