Hi chaps, After trying a fast play rule set last night, I thought I'd give Rob Heath's Coaling Stations (v. 1,1) a go with a R-J war scenario. AAR for Battle off Ulsan on my blog if you are interested: link Cheers Alan |

Nice write up and pictures in both your Ulsan games. Looks like Coaling Stations gives the best game. But like you say, maybe with some adjustments the other rules would be okay as well. Have you tried Quickfire yet? |

I look forward to your thoughts on the rules. I have purchased the rules and there are some ambiguities with them, so am intrigued as to how they play. |

Quickfire is a great suggestion, I've not given them a go yet. Am just trying as many rules as I can before I start building up fleets. Thanks for the comments. My observations on Coaling Stations mechanics will come tonight. Am trying to get some discussion going on the CS yahoo group too. Its a bit quiet! Thanks for the comments. Alan |
