Now that I'm back home after working out of town for several months, I find myself overwhelmed by the pile of SF, VSF, Pulp, Post-Apocalyptic and other sculpts and terrain projects I had started but never got to finish. In no particular order . . . * Woola – inspired by the John Carter movie; * Martian – inspired by the 1953 version of War of the Worlds; * Bug holes – through soil and through asphalt, a small and a large version of each (requested by Rebel Minis ages ago); * Morlock sphinx head – inspired by the 1960 version of The Time Machine; * Graboid head and body – inspired by the 1990 film Tremors; * Buildings and mobile homes for my Tremors board; * Embossing roller for walls of interior passages of Egyptian/Oparian tombs and vaults; * Egyptian/Oparian doorways and columns for corridors; * Embossing roller for Alien corridors; * Cork hills for my Martian board; * Off-world settlement buildings and Sahadeen tents and shanties for my Mars board; * Martian ruins and monuments for my Mars board; * Post-Apocalyptic boats, floating villages, flooded buildings, for pirates, survivors, etc. (after a full polar ice melt) I'm sure I've left others out but those are the ones I've found on or around my work table. And that doesn't even include all the figures I've bought but never painted. Additional examples: link Having ADHD doesn't help either. I know that, to avoid wasting Green Stuff, it is usually ok to have multiple projects at different stages of completion. But I'm feeling a little confused at the moment. (Sigh) Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? How do you prioritize your projects? Thanks, Dan |

Pick one project and make a vow to complete it while you continue to collect for the others. |

That or focus on two or three projects so you acn switch when bored with one or just change the clors you sue for painting. |

The boats sound really cool! But I'd love to see the graboids in 15mm! Terry |

I'd start with the bug holes, and keep Woola around for left-over GS. And the Waterworld terrain as you get bored. |

I would say clone yourself, but that would be another project:) Or you could always make a list and prioritize. Good Luck! |

You forgot the top half sculpts for the contest. And I forgot to pack the GS for you yesterday. I am biased, but walled terrain is high on my lists. the PA boat stuff would be next. |

I hear your pain. I have been "doing" WWI & Colonial Sudan for 25 years. Mean time I have completed Modern Africa, Pirates, Necromunda, 5 x 1/72 Korean War B-29 models etc. Like debt, pick the smallest nearest to completion. Nail it. If there's any wasteage, wear it.(being of Scottish heritage this is really hard to say but you can ..throw..extras out. (arrghh!)) Then it's finished, you feel good, & encouraged to get on the next task. A snowbal effect. I am one pack away from finishing my Fuzzy-Wuzzys and then just the 11th Hussars and limbers and I'm done. |

Woola looked pretty good, and therefore pretty close to being done. Start with highest average number of legs per figure and work down. It's as good as any other order. |
