Absolute minimal assembly required. Who makes 'em and who sells 'em?

Next question – who has best figure grouping (packaging) to make up actual units per TOEs?

Last question – anyone out there know if Battle Honors 25mm makes an early war regular infantry French lt. mg. and which pack it might be in?

Thx
Mike

Artizan and Crusader are nice figures. As I recall, the WW2 collections are mostly one piece and need little cleaning. They can also be mixed together in units.

There are some very good painting guides on their websites (…..but I am biased)

I have ready to game armies. Those are the fastest! Let me know..

For minimal assembly do metal. I second Artizan and Crusader, but Warlord/BAM metals are also pretty good unless you don't like their facial expressions.

West Wind, TAG, Gothic Line, BTD and Victory Force are also viable options, but beware that VF doesn't mix with any other line.

For figures? Any metal line will not require much assembly. I like Harlequin (now Black Tree), Artizan, Crusader, and West Wind, myself.

For vehicles, I have found Army Group North very quick to assemble and paint. Most vehicles are made up of one resin piece (two is there is a turret) and a few white metal fittings. Less than 10 pieces in all.

This AGN tank has resin hull, resin turret, metal barrel, and two metal exhausts. It should take all of five minutes to prep and assemble.

Victory Force sells figures individually, so you can reproduce any TO&E. The figures are large though, standing about 35mm to the top of the head. They have excellent detail and realistic proportions. About 90% of the figures are 1 piece castings. Some have a "Choose hands" option for variety.

Dust Studio figures made for Dust Warfare/Tactics from Fantasy Flight Games.

They come assembled, based and primed.

Yes, and the LMGs are in the rifle section packs. The Hotchkisses are in the Heavy Machinegun pack.
