I am hoping that someone here can help me out
I am in the need for a 28-32mm fig that looks like a Genghis Khan style warrior or a Kublai Khan style. The larger and more muscular the better. Battle axe would be great
Any ideas? Thanks!

Gotta be a 'standing' figure? Curteys Miniatures makes a Kublai Khan, with hunting panther included!!! But, he is mounted, and no axe. Probably no exactly what you are looking for, but here it is nonetheless link |

A Mongol leader with a battleaxe? A sword and bow combo or lance is more like it. Here is a link to something on e-bay that you could convert to using an axe. auction |

Bear in mind, the Curteys Miniatures Kublai Khan is a dwarf on a horse and a small 25mm figure. Raglan |

Either an older Alternate Armies figure or an old Games Workshop should do. I have one of these as a dismounted figure that I used to use for D&D. I think it was a GW slotta base figure with Khan in raised letters on the slotta metal bar

I have a Genghis Khan miniature that was sculpted by Kev White at Hasslefree as convention swag. It has a sword not a battle axe and I don't think its muscular in that sense, its wearing armor. I'll see if I can snap some pictures of it tonight. I'm not sure its really what you are looking for though. |

There's the true-28mm Warriors of Khand, from GW. Or you can try something from the L5R line, "Shinjo Mosaku"

The Battle axe is the symbol of the King (and the top General). The ancient kanji for 'King' is literally two crossed battleaxes (not the 'connection between heaven and earth'). Over the years, the bottom went from a curve to a flatter line. |
