I wanted to ask the community at large for suggestions of what are the most interesting engagements of The Great War. It is my intention over the next five years to do these as miniatures games. Please look at my list and let me know what you want to see. link Jon greenfieldsbeyond.wordpress.com |

You might want to look into the Salonika Front. Not as extreme a trench warfare situation as the Western Front, some mobile actions, many contingents, and lots of different uniforms. Grelber |

Thank you for the suggestion. Do you game on that front? |

No. I've looked into it, but have too many other projects to finish. Grelber |

I think you have chosen a good selection of battles there. You don't want to get dragged into the massive (imho unplayable) engagements such as Verdun. I would, however, consider the Battle of Loos 1915. I particularly like the inclusion of Operation Hush. I have long planned a Hush game, but it has never got to the table. Tim |

You might want to look at the Italian Front as well. Lots of possibilities and you can add in Avalanches. |

Now adding avalanches is a very special rule. I add Muscat this evening and looking at interesting naval battles. I can always add in a WWI air game as needed. link Jon greenfieldsbeyond.wordpress.com |
