What blue would folks recommend for Duchy of Warsaw infantry and Vistula Legion?

For comparison, I paint my French with vallejo prussian blue and my Prussians with vallejo dark prussian blue.

Same blue as you use for the French.

Including the vistula legion? The few drawings of the vistula infantry that I've seen seem a bit more dark/purple-ish.

Generally speaking the Polish troops were initially resourced by the French so the same blue would be accurate and this would certainly be true for the Vistuls Legion throughout their history. As far as the Duchy is concerned they may have gone to a new source for blue dyes eventually, but I think what you are seeing is simply a result of different printing or the contrast to the amaranth/crimson on some uniforms.

I use Foundry French Blue for the Duchy Troops I am painting now. Now for shades and highlights I use a different twist. My Dark shades are black and my highlights are Foundry Bavarian Cornflower Blue Shade. I love the look. It has a subtle look but, a realistic look.
