Well I think I was a bit quick to state Spring is here in my last update as there is still snow on the ground here in the UK….

Despite my plans to do a load of 6mm I decided to paint my WWII British instead to complete them. I did manage to start a load of Mahdists so they are almost completed.

1. Keep painting my Mahdist infantry
2. Aim to be in profit by the end of the month

Can you fine folk define the Pledge, please?

Loosely it's painting more than you buy. But really it's whatever you want it to be.

The Pledge is a personal challenge, individually defined. Some people might be painting more than they buy. Some might have a specific goal, like getting an army finished. Some might have a number per month in mind. You decide what goal you want to achieve this year with your lead pile, and post your progress monthly.

For the year, I'm at -137…

Working full time (and commuting more than an hour each way) sucks up a lot more time than I thought it would, so I didn't get anywhere NEAR as much painting done as I thought I would. On the upside I DID get some painting done!

STAT EDIT: Instead of obtaining 42 figures like I figured last month, I wound up obtaining 34 so I'm adjusting my stats accordingly.

My target is to paint 600 across all scales for my pledge. At least in theory.

For 28mm I've done 16 Austrian Napoleonic Uhlans, 10 Austrian infantry, 1 Austrian mounted officer, 7 Western gunfighters, 15 Spear Ashigaru

For 3mm Cold War I've done 96 West German Infantry and 39 Tanks.

So ~184 all up. Good start numbers-wise but I've definitely used the 3mm stuff as a crutch and eventually that projects will just up and finish on me!

I will still have my 10mm War of the Roses stuff which will hopefully not be too difficult to churn out, though.
