I had a double hernia operation and while I was laid up in in bed I watched the series The Pacific and want to do Okinawa in 20mm so I need 20mm Japanese civilians for the Battle of Okinawa who makes them?

Hi Irish Marine,

First and foremost, I pray that your recovery is going well, or is even finished!

My wife and I watched "The Pacific" together, and I wish I could answer your question with any kind of knowledge. I'm sorry that I can't. The best answer I can give is perhaps to use 20mm / 1/72 scale Samurai era civilians, if they're available anywhere.

That's a bloody great idea I wish I could claim credit for that, thanks!

Double hernia… Ouch.

Only source for these I could think of were the B&B Samurai Range

There are some armed male peasants but no women or children

Similar story in plastic.

My only other suggestion is to try some Model Railway sources, especially Japanese suppliers, but that could get expensive.

Good luck in your recovery and quest.
