It seems that the 43rd Foot's officers effected pelisses in the Peninsular. Does anyone know whether any other British light infantry regiment did the same? |

According to Chappell the pelisse was an affectation strictly of of the 43rd amongst light infantry regiments, indeed thier uniforms were so splendid the French mistook one capture officer of the 43rd for a general! |

Is there a source for separate 28mm pelisses I need to know about? |

I think I read somewhere that some/all of the Pennisula Hussars didn't wear their peliss. If so there might be some "spares" floating out there that folks would be willing to part with |
