The yahoo group is very, very busy – really needs one for each set of rules – but then poor Andrea wouldn't get any rules out! If you havn't tried the rules, think tabletop RPG without 90% of the not-needed bumpth. For instance, yesterday, 2 llurg, having been ko'd by a gas grenade, use a table to cover their way to the entrance to their bunker. Didn't work. That's a skirmisgh game, not a RPG session. link link |

I'm a huge fan of Song of Blades and Heroes. I would agree with Inner Sanctum that SBH does play much faster than an RPG -or almost any other wargame for that matter- and has far less bookkeeping. However a more accurate description might be that is similar to Mordheim in scope, but much more open ended and streamline. Which is what I like best about it. |
