I am just not getting into 28mm WW2, after doing it in almost every other scale, even 1/35-54mm (hard to beat the mini variety in that scale =) )

Anyway, long story short, I bought a plastic set of the Bolt Action British infantry (late war) and am really quite impressed. Before I spend a lot of money on metals to fill out my force, I just want to make sure the plastics match up well with other Bolt Action Brits, and also wonder how they stack up next to Artizan (who will likely form the backbone of my German force).

I ask for opinions here, just because there are not a lot of online comparisons involving these new plastics and their older lines. I would assume they match up well with the metal Bolt Action minis since they are from the same company, but know that is not always how it goes so thought I would ask.

James I've used Bolt Action plastic Germans mixed with Artizan Germans…

I've tried to show comparison with some photos:

Thanks! Those look more than acceptable together. Just what I was looking for. Appreciate it!

How strong are the weapons?

I have found Perry figures are generally OK but I have had problems with Tamiya & airfic 1/48 scale that are far too thin for gaming.

They are thin but seem pretty strong and I've had no problems with them breaking…I've haven't used them too much however…

I've had one or two weapons snap on me, mainly when clipping the rifles from the sprue! I'm abit heavy handed at times which I don't think helps, I've also had one snap while I varnished it, but considering how thin they are I don't think its bad going!
