Hello all.

Just a quick post to tell you that my amazingly brave eldest daughter will be shaving all her hair off for Cancer Research on May 31st. In an age of image aware teens, this is an incredibly selfless thing for her to do. So, if you could support her with a donation of any size, please visit her JustGiving page here:

We are so very proud of her. Thanks everyone.

What a good job you've done. And she's doubled her goal. Congratulations all around.

Can someone PM me in a couple of weeks so I can make an appropriate contribution… I have no farthings to rub together this week.

That's a great kid you've got there.

Earther28 Mar 2013 9:56 a.m. PST

Thank you 79thPA! I would say this, but she's the best!

Maddaz111, I'll probably be doing a reminder nearer to D-Day for a final boost to the total.

Thanks for your interest guys.

Earther,

I didn't put this on the comment with my contribution, because it seems a bit of a downer to sic on a kid, but I lost two friends to cancer last year. If you think she could handle knowing this, please let her know; but in any case, tell her from me that she's doing damned good work.

All the best,

John.

No problem John, I'll speak to her. She's very understanding and empathic for a 13 year old. I'm sure she'll be glad to know she's doing her bit.

And thank you.

Apologies for the blatant bump…

She's got ust over a week to go now – please help if you can.

Cheers,
Paul

Well, it's done and she was absolutely amazing! Took it all in her stride and is really rocking that crop!

My wife put this video together of the deed – don't worry, it's not too long…

I collected another £60.00 GBP today, so I'll get that on tomorrow and she'll be almost at the £900.00 GBP mark!

Thanks to everyone who has supported her both financially and with your kind words.
