"So, there's a new trailer for The Wolverine. Pretty exciting, right? Hugh Jackman is coming back in all of his adamantium-clawed glory to take off his shirt and snikt his way through Japan. Or something. It's been a long time coming, and there was a lot of buzz and excitement. Why do we know this? Because before the trailer came out, the trailer got a trailer, as well as — ready for this? — a "tweaser."

That's not a typo. On Monday, director James Mangold posted a Vine on Twitter that is — by default — a six-second preview of the forthcoming trailer with the caption "The tweaser." (Presumably short for "Twitter teaser.") Prior to that he promised there would also be a 20-second teaser, released by MTV Tuesday (below), and announced the full trailer would be released Wednesday. It's now above, and it looks pretty cool, maybe even worth the wait. But the lead-up was a little much…"

Looking good. Looking much better than the original. This one takes place some point during or after the XMen movies it seems.

They have yet to capture the ferocity of Wolverine though; at least compared to the comics.
