Apologies for this being old news to many, but since it's new to me I thought it worth a share for those who may not have had the chance to enjoy it. YouTube link YouTube link |

Cracking series, got the box set for Crimble a couple of years ago, and watched them all on Boxing Day. IMHO films such as Fly Boys and Red Baron, although good on the aerial scenes thanks to CGI in comparison to the models, the acting and drama is way under the benchmark set by Wings. BBC missed a trick not taking the storyline further. |

I remember watching Modellers Worlds and they had an episode showing all the remote control aircraft that they used and how they did the dogfights |

Thanks so much for posting this – a dim and distant memory from my youth – and on a second watch an absolutely brilliant series – grim and gritty, and although, yes, a bit shouty and theatrical in places, an excellent depiction of the early part of the air war and the perils of being 'Fokker Fodder'

If I could get the thing somehow, I wouldn't feel as bad, but as it is my reaction to these 'copyright complaints' can be summed up by
