Ian 'Geronimo' Brumby of Fenris Games and Jon 'Dags' Atter cat-herder for the Frothers Charity projects are setting up a fund to help sculptor Kev Adams who was beaten and stabbed during a burglary. He is expected to recover, but there was/is a risk that he might have lost sight in one eye. The plan is to produce sets of 28mm goblins and there are at least two dozen sculptors donating their work with Paul Reid of Ral Partha Europe donating casting and distribution. The Facebook page is here: link You do not be signed up with Facebook to see this page. In the meantime, those who are wishing to make a donation (separate from buying the goblins) are encouraged to make the donation via PayPal to goblinaidATfenrisgamesDOTcom Ian and Dags asked me to relay the following: "We have finally got a live, dedicated PayPal account and bank account sorted to take donations and proceeds from any auctions we run on the GA eBay account.Donations can be made directly to goblinaidATfenrisgamesDOTcom. For the time being, please note that we can only accept donations and not payments made on deposit against the charity mini set – it's just too much admin for us at this stage. When we've got a full set of sculpts and costs/payment details for the charity minis we'll be posting here, obviously, but for the time being this is available for those of you who've expressed a desire just to donate something." Yes, this is just tragic. The sort of injuries he's sustained will change his life. From accounts, Kev's a mild mannered gent with an obvious talent for sculpting naughty greenlings. I'm a fan of his work and will be contributing financially. |
