"The Undead Samurai is the very first character of Dark Hammer Series and has been a popular request for a long time. Thanks for excellent work of all the artists and also the patience of all collectors. The Undead Samurai totally contains 16 parts which will give you a lot of fun to assemble and paint them
" (70mm).

Beware and read carefully all the text for their products. I mean I bought the 28 mm version and got a 28 mm tall samurai
including horse. :D That makes it more like a 15 or 20 mm samurai. Well, I guess I haven't read the description well enough but I have doubts since I never make that kind of mistakes and the box says "28 mm scale" so I wonder if they haven't changed the text on the website. Or it's possible I was so excited that I didn't notice as I wanted it from the time I saw it as a 70 mm (scale? :D) mini. Well, I guess I have no excuse: the price was just too good for a 1:56 guy on horse these days. Considering there's a pic with a ruler next to the 70 mm version, definitly no excuse for me tho I don't remember such a pic for the 28 mm version. I think I saw a 40 mm version a few days ago. I might buy it another time. He might fit with the several sizes of samurai toys I have. Or even the 70 mm version to make a brother for Izamu the armor from Wyrd. Samurai demonic badass thingies from hell could be from any size after all (well at 28 mm on horse, it is much less scary). And their lion centaur monster tyrant too. Looks like it will make a cool monster. So I am not bitter or anything about them. Just wanted to tell you guys so you don't make the same mistake I did. |
