Lords of Middle-Earth is the first expansion for the Second Edition of War of the Ring. It adds some of the characters from the books that were only represented by cards in the base game. link |

I'd love to see a Desolation of Smaug variant in which the Company of the Dwarves failed to retake Erebor, and Smaug starts out as a special character. No Dale, no dwarves of Erebor. But you can still have the Fellowship, maybe Bilbo still got the ring through his adventured, but Bard missed his shot at Laketown and Smaug lives. |
