Just asked my parents to get me 7TV as a birthday present, now looking for figures.

I am aware of the Crooked dice range, and other ranges such as Copplestone, and I will get the personality figures from such places. However I'm looking for a cheaper alternative for those guys in the orange jumpsuits whose job was to run forward with a SMG (usually a Grease gun or sten) for 007 to gun down. I'm thinking possibly WW2- any suggestions?

Additional thought

I'm thinking SAS in berets for good guys, preferably without webbing.

What about these guys?

For 7TV WW2 you might also consider pulpfigures.com/products/view/43 pulpfigures.com/products/view/65 and the ever popular pulpfigures.com/products/view/44 look at the other weird menace offerings as well. For SAS, consider these link also, scope out his Kiss Kiss Bang Bang range.

Thanks for those. Those SAS figures are the perfect example- the 'genre' figures are 3 for £6.50 GBP, personalities at Crooked Dice are £4.00 GBP each (I understand this- figures have a fixed cost, plus the casing cost. 1 per army figures have to divide that among less figures)

The SAS are 4 for £5.40 GBP- half the price of the CD figures. This is why I'm looking for cheaper options on the 'mooks and redshirts' – the generic faceless masses whose job is to be thrown 20 feet in the air by grenades (given the gout of flame and power Hollywood grenades produce, I can only assume they are Nuclear grenades!)

I'll definitely be getting a Hugo Solomon though!

East Riding Miniatures has Boilersuit Shocktroopers and Hooded Cultists. I like the look of them and own the cultists. I don't knoiw how much cheaper they are, but they're cool miniatures.
