Nice photos here of a Armored bulldozer on Saipan. I haven't seen one like this before. Robert

Tilt up "windscreen" and (is that?) a roof hatch….. Compares favorably with the D7 of European Theatre fame. I can see (if that's the case) a reason for the roof hatch, as well as the extra ventilation in theatre from the tilting windscreen. I think the rationale for the open access on the European realtive was the requirement for deep wading… anyone recall?

The little engine that could. Can't believe that dinky little thing is bulldozing a Panther.

Good ol US equipment wink. And the quantity too. I don't see an armored bulldozer here though,

My wife's uncle was a SeeBee in WW2. When he died, he left us a large numberof photos that he had gotten late in the war. Most were of action in the Phillipines.
Most I had not seen before including one of a japanese halftrack.
A number were of construction equipment.

The British and US armoured dozers in Europe were all armoured by a single British company (who had the UK Caterpillar import licence) in a mad rush before D-Day.

I think I have seen more of the UK,US and Japanese engineer/construction equipment then I have German. Has anyone seen any Italian engineer/construction equipment? Robert
