I have some Eureka Miniatures Alouette helicopters and need to get or make some flight stands that look the part but won't fall over. Any ideas? Mark |

I use an upsidedown party store plastic champaign glass. It has worked with diecast 1/60 Mi-24's, which are pretty heavy. |

I made a 5" hex out of masonite, took a 2" by 4" by 1" chunk of marble from a counter installer (they have all kinds of left over pieces like this that are useless to them) and drilled a hole through it. I then place a telescoping rod into the hole and secured it with 5 minute apoxy. On the other end I glued a magnet. Under by helos I have a steel strip that grabs the magnet. I made 4 of these in one afternoon and they hold all my 28mm aircraft very well. |
