Just along the coast from where I live in Hove, Arun District Council has been raising money for Combat Stress and I have been asked to attend a civic reception on April 11th as the charity's representative to receive a cheque from Councillor Ann Smee and make a short speech. Naturally, I have accepted and I shall be proud to attend on behalf of all those Battlegames and Miniature Wargames readers who have given their time and money so selflessly towards our own Battlegames Combat Stress Appeal. This is an indication of how grateful the charity is for what we are doing and the real difference it is making to veterans' lives. So from me to all of you, thank you. Meanwhile, the latest eBay auction (28mm Vietnam War Australian SAS trooper) is proceeding well. auction Henry Miniature Wargames with Battlegames |
