1240 AD
Early spring, the ice had just broken on the baltic sea and the warriors had gathered at to make a sacrafice to Freyja for good weather. As they carry out their ritual they out on the sea noticed some ships approacing, as the ships got closer it was sertain that is was a Ledung fleet from the other side of the baltic sea and they didnīt seems to be here for the trade…

You can read the 4th Lion Rampant AAR at my blog.

Like it, especially the board which is very effective – I do like a beach landing scenario!

Marvellous Dalauppror. A joy to read and your figures are painted very well. I like this obscure (to me at least) period of history. Many thanks.

Thanks !!!

I to realy like beach landing scenarios, we have run this one 2 times befor but with our viking/saxon forces and using the Dux Britt rules.

Donīt know it is realy obscure but this part have come in the shadow of the Teutonic order, so not to many know that the Swedes and danes did their fair part of the Crusades to the Baltic States and Finland in the case of the Swedes that I focus on. You can fins some more info about the Northern/Baltic Crusades her: link
But one again the info are mostly focused on the Teutonic order.
