Here's a couple pictures from a set of flats "Prinz Eugen" that Heinrichsen first produced in 1887. It contains 45 figures, about evenly divided between Imperialists and Ottomans, some of which are single castings with multiple figures. I painted them in acrylics.

So many lovely paint jobs of flats out there – I just wish I knew why they often look so much better than "round" figures. Is it to do with anatomy/poise? Anyway – excellent stuff. Thanks |
