I'll be needing to paint up some Samoans for an upcoming colonial game and am looking for a third opinion on painting a Polynesian skin tone.

I'm quite aware of the coolmini skin tone site that everyone links to. Problem is I despise Vallejo paints, but in a pinch will use that to reference the paints I already possess.

I'm also aware that the Foundry South American Flesh set is also a good set to paint, but let's just use the excuse that I'm cheap and possibly impatient.

Are there any other references or anyone have any experiences painting polynesians?

I have used GW flesh wash over ivory-colored craft paint (used up the bottle I bought, don't remember the actual name) for my Hawaiians. Haven't held one up to an actual Hawaiian yet, but they look like a decent match to the skin tone.
