After I painted my British paras (see them here:http://blog.cjsutherland.co.uk/28mm-british-paratroopers/ )

I finally managed to get them on the gaming table!

I quickly threw together a scenario based on the fact that I found out that one of the character models I had was a Glider pilot who took part in an operation to secure a crossroads in Oosterbeek during market garden. I made a loosely based scenario, and we threw some figures on the table… here's what came about when we did:
