Nice paint rack, but why do so many bloggers use dark colored fonts on dark colored backgrounds? Just makes me move on without reading what they have to say.

thank you – site book marked, too many goodies there

Yeah. I want that vertical rack.

A rack like that, is relatively simple to make: use either MDF (paint as desired), or thin plywood sheets from your local DIY stores. Tools needed: a drill press (an electric drill could work, too), Band Saw or a Jig-Saw or a Coping Saw, and some wood glue. Not much needed in materials, and it would be a fun little project.

I bought a wire paint rack from Michael's several years ago, with the 40% off coupon, or I'd probably make one up, after seeing that. Cheers!

Well now that was a disappointment….. :)

@Tim – you probably look an idiot asking J Womack as it is not his blog! :-) Here's a link to the picture:

Not sure what you mean, the background is the same as light grey as TMP with only the text being dark (like TMP).

Steve you do have a nice rack. wink

rebmarine21 Mar 2013 12:48 p.m. PST

Steve – when I open the link, the background is the War of the Worlds pic, which is dark at the top. The dark colored font disappears in the background. TMP has a light colored background instead of an image, so the dark font shows up very well.
