Hello I am venturing off into modern warfare ,unfortunately back in my day we used woodland pattern camo and chocolate chips. Things have changed. Can anyone help me find the eureka painting guide to the seal team six figures. Also The green color for the new SMAW (the weapon color) team is bang on does anyone have a vallejo reference? A light green color for gloves? and last I am looking for a quality reference for woodlands MARPAT. I appreciate the help. |

Hello, I suggest visiting the Ambush Alley forums, they have a lot of painting guides for modern forces. Then there's this method for painting digital camouflage, I used it for my Desert MARPAT Marines: link The gloves you are talking about are available in green and tan, they are called NOMEX gloves:
however, nowadays many soldiers, sailors and marines wear Mechanix Gloves in the field instead. |

I recommend the Guild as it has a great guide for painting marines. link |

Most folks I know seem to paint their marines in the desert MARPAT colors. I did mine in the woodland MARPAT and with 15mm scale, it was a bit of a chore to get the right blend. Took long enough, but I think I got it done correctly

What scale are you painting? makes a difference in technique. |

I am painting 28mm figures, trying to get as much detail as I can. |
