You simply must check out this cracking MAYHEM battle report! As usual, Steve [aka Thantsants] has put together a fantastic collection of images that is only matched by his entertaining narrative. With characters like Shreevan Zeegal, Count Johan Von Damne, Bluch Norress, Dulf Lundgrin, and Arkneld Beulenegger, how can you go wrong? Right? The report can be viewed in three parts by following the links below: Part I Part II Part III

Really fantastic setup
a very impressive way to showcase a new game. Brent, do you think this game could scale down to skirmish level? You know, 1 guy instead of 1 unit, etc? |

I'll be playing my first Mayhem game tomorrow! Fantastic! I look forward to hearing about your game. I'm around if you have any questions. Very cool. Great photography too. I can't take credit for the game or the actual photography. I simply cropped and add a little depth of field effect to the images above. Brent, do you think this game could scale down to skirmish level? You know, 1 guy instead of 1 unit, etc? It can. When playtesting, we have used single based figures [Confrontation, Warhammer, etc.] to work out interactions and balances. Keep in mind that you would still be using facings, but this actually adds a bit of a 'tactics' vibe when skirmishing. Hypothetically speaking, if there were a skirmish variant in the works, then it would not feature facing rules and would add more cinematic action through liberal use of rules and abilities like Deadlocks. That's just hypothetical of course

I passed this AAR to my group, which has a strong support for Warmaster. It garnered interest :) I have this stupid obsession with games that allow me to build my own units and forces
I'll be buying this very soon! |

Let me know if you're seeking playtesters for a hypothetical skirmish version of MAYHEM. I've got a game club here in Chicago that would be delighted to take a look at any (hypothetical) rules. |

I'll be buying this very soon! It'll be nice to have you. Make sure to share some of the units and forces you build! Let me know if you're seeking playtesters for a hypothetical skirmish version of MAYHEM. If you don't mind, then give me your email. |
