Hello All,

Some of you may know me as the author of several wargaming scenario books. I post here fairly regularly. Well, I've branched off into writing history studies. Using the research I had already done for Civil War Virtual Tours and the scenario book, I have completed a new study on the Battle of Pickett's Mill. Its the first full length book on the battle, if you don't count Morton McInvale's book from 1977, which was published by the state of Georgia.

The book will be published by The History Press. It is due out on April 9th. Hard copy and ebook versions will be available. The book has lots of maps. I wouldn't have written it if I didn't have lots of maps! Also, the focus is very much on the soldiers themselves. The leadership of the generals and leaders is a main focus, of course, but I had plenty of first-hand accounts from the ranks to draw from. I'd say 98% of my sources were primary sources.

Its already up for pre-order on all the major online sites. Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.

If anybody has an established blog and would like a review copy, just shoot me a private message and I'll arrange it.

Have a look at the links below, and I hope you enjoy the book!
