Dear All,

picture

I have blogged a review/gallery/mini workshop of my latest painted unit, the 2nd (1st West Prussian) Dragoons (von Zeithen's Own):

Nicely done Ralph, you can't beat the sight of dashing cavalry.

Love your figures, P.H. in Prussian Landwehr lists 54 Freiwillige Jagers.

Nice work Sparker. I've got a few of these figures to paint myself.

Sparker,
Very well done. Some of your best paint jobs on these.

Better images on the blog.

Lovely brushwork and a great write up. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you all very much for your kind comments. Good to hear they did have Freiwillgen Jager… Though at 54 I probably should have had 2 figures with a 1:20 figure scale!

Very tasty Sparker! But can they fight? We shall have to test their mettle against Philip's Cuirassier.

Nice!

Hopefully not against the whole damn division…well not at once, anyway!

Hi Sparker,

Good to see these particularly as I'd missed the guidance Peter put on the Calpe website as to coat colour.

As a result my first Regiment of 32 figures may be a tad dark but I've got another 32 figure Regiment which I shall follow your example on.

Cheers,

Paul
