TWO (yes two, count 'em 2) weeks until Hotlead 2013 in Stratford Ontario at the lovely Arden Park Hotel. So far we've got 49 games, including some big bring and battles for the Warhammer 40K and VSF players, plus 5 DBA tournaments. I will be hosting 3 of those 49 games on Saturday. 1) 9:30 am…The St. Francis Raid Pursuit – a FIW skirmish game featuring the debut of my third rule set: Buckskins and Rangers. 2) 2:00 pm…Forsyth's Daring Convoy Raid – a War of 1812 skirmish game featuring my second rule set: Red Coats and War Hawks, released last year at Hotlead 3) 7:00 pm…The St. Francis Raid Pursuit – a repeat of 1) above Rule sets will be available for purchase throughout the day for all three sets:
1) Green Jackets and Voltigeurs…Napoleonic skirmish rules
2) Red Coats and War Hawks…War of 1812 skirmish rules

It's gratifying to see various posts on the different forums from folks saying they'll be coming for the first time this year. Granted it's nice to hear from others that they're looking forward to coming back too. :D |

Actually only three of the "Hotlead Team" still live in Stratford. The rest are scattered from Chatham and London to Kitchener and Beloit Wisconsin, plus a detachment in Alberta! But we manage to get together to play in the basement o'rabbits a few times a year. |

Sadly if we went earlier there's always the risk of snow storms cancelling the show and if we go much later in the year than no one could get a hotel room because of the Theatre Festival. |
