This was done as part of my Suzy Swagger story. She's a female Pirate Cat from Dark Sword. 30mm sculpt.

I was surprised when a woman writer contacted me and asked if I would sell her. She offered me $100.00 USD. As I am not an idiot, I said yes.

I was then asked if I would do a small Female Pirate Crew to go with her for an additional fee and I said yes again.

We picked out 3 from Reaper Miniatures and I am working on those now.

These are what we chose. THESE PICS ARE FROM THE REAPER SITE AND ARE NOT MY PAINTING. I am in the process of painting my own.

This experience gave me an idea of how to fund my hobby. People outside the hobby world. Right now I'm with a writer of fiction novels to do two Steam Punk figures of her 2 main characters.

And here I was, expecting a figure of a cat that sounds like Antonio Banderas. I would probably have bought it too!

You write stories about the figures you paint (or vice versa)? I've been going through a dry period at work with little to do, and ended up doing the sme thing. Some day, you must elaborate, or even provide a link to the stories and pictures of the figures.

The pirate lass in the blue coat is quite nice--I must visit the Reaper site.

@Grieber-Yes, I write stories. I've got two going right now. First I buy loads of unrelated figures, then I find a way to create a story. I use the names of my fellow gamers online for the characters. You guys know some of these guys! I'll post the short series of Lord Ray on Monday.
