Is it just me or is the news item about the new advertiser a little odd ?

"Stu at Colonel Bills" is listed as being a sponsoring member AND a sleeping member (i.e. hasn't visited for a loooooooooooooong time).

Is that not just a bit odd if he's the latest new advertiser ??

I think "sleeping" just means he hasn't logged in, not that he hasn't visited at all.

Truth is, those of us who post are the weird ones.

Word !

The sensible ones are the ones who advertise, but spend as little time visiting as possible :-)

I thought that odd as well.

Wise words Geoff – there's a lot to be said for being smart enough not to stick your head above the parapet. (Types Dom, who isn't….)

Hey Dom,

Glad to see the return of the dancing banana. Hope this means your morale has brightened up a bit.

One of the most irritating TMPers back in the Current Affairs days was an advertiser.
I am sure it affected his sales.

Not to mention one or two other TMP advertisers who got themselves banned. Or locked. Or defenestrated. Or whatever it's called.

See if you can identify yourself in here :-)

(I think Dom is at the back, on the left)

You can make up your own mind who is getting defenestrated….

At least Bill opened the windows.

Sometimes, there's a waiting list before a new advertiser's announcement can be run. I try to space out the 'welcomes' so that there is only one at a time on the homepage.

Hey, gives me a new poll suggestion!

I'm sure it did. In fact, I no longer visit a particular FLGS (where "F" here doesn't stand for "friendly") because I let the owner bait me into a political discussion.

Well I just added a new word to my vocabulary. grin

It's one of TMP's lesser known but still vital features!
