Just found out that Games Workshop has released some new plastic boxed sets for the hobbit. As always I will be making a prize comparison between the UK based online retaillers to see where you can buy these miniatures are the best prices as they Games Workshop prices are really high and every penny counts.

I have tried to post the images here direct but photobucket seems to have a problem and I can't upload any pictures, so here's an alternative all the new plastic sets posted in one blogpost on my personal blog: link

Knights of Rivendell (6 plastic cavalry models)

• Games Workshop: £30.00 GBP + Free shipping
• Wayland games: £24.00 GBP + £1.85 GBP Cheapest UK shipping
• Total wargamer: £25.50 GBP + £2.99 GBP Cheapest UK shipping

Cheapest: Wayland games link

Warriors of Dale / Erebor and Grim Hammer each of these sets contains 12 miniatures except for the dale warriors which only contain 10 plastic miniatures)

• Games Workshop: £20.00 GBP + Free shipping
• Wayland games: £16.60 GBP + £1.85 GBP Cheapest UK shipping
• Total wargamer: £17.00 GBP + £1.99 GBP Cheapest UK shipping

Cheapest: Wayland games link

As you can see you can save quite some pounds when looking at the different online stores! I hope you found this comparison useful and stay tuned as soon I will continue my adventure to try and assemble a hobbit like starter set but without buying any of the new models from Games Workshop and using some models from other companies including a nice goblin town scenery piece!
